Cozy fireplace with comfy chairs set the mood perfectly during early March. The four-course breakfast at chosen hours, complete with homemade jams, was a delicious highlight of the stay.
The bathrooms aren't en-suite, which might be a slight hassle for some. Breakfast choices were limited, with no alternatives offered for guests who might not enjoy the main courses, leaving some at a loss if they didn't like the fruit or yogurt. Additionally, the Safari room would benefit from a little extra soundproofing as outside noises can be a bit distracting.

My stay at the Stone Hedge Bed And Breakfast was fantastic. The hosts, Brian and Linda, provided exceptional hospitality, making us feel right at home. The Royal Room was beautifully decorated, featuring a massive stone-clad walk-in shower that we loved. Breakfast was a five-course delight, including fresh yogurt parfaits and homemade muffins. Their unique grape and crabapple jellies were a lovely touch, and the outdoor garden and pool area added to the charm.
The shared bathroom situation might be a slight inconvenience for some guests.

beautiful garden, convenient airport shuttle, impressive stone-clad walk-in shower
The purported 'Queen Suite' is cramped with inadequate room for suitcases!!! The lack of air conditioning made the stay uncomfortable on warm days. Shared bathrooms can be inconvenient, especially when navigating in the dark!!!

Just a reliable pick for a flying visit in Richmond with reasonable price. I appreciated the lovely jars of grape and crabapple jelly that were given to us as a sweet parting gift. Make sure to ask about the shuttle service if you need a ride to the airport.

Hospitality stood out with complimentary airport pick-up and attentive service. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring freshly baked pastries and expertly prepared dishes by Chef Linda, making each course a delightful experience. However, the shared bathrooms required some adjustments for convenience, and a more streamlined check-in process would enhance the arrival experience. Nonetheless, the charming atmosphere and outdoor facilities, including a garden and pool, offered a pleasant stay overall.
